INNERGO’s cooperation with Aion Bank SA began in 2020. We supply Apple devices and provide employee onboarding services in all countries where Aion Bank currently operates.
Aion Bank originated from Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, which was founded in Italy in 1472. It started operating in Belgium in 1947 as a subsidiary, also under the name Banca Monte Paschi Belgio. In October 2018, the Belgian subsidiary Banca Monte Paschi Di Sienna was sold to the American investment fund Warburg Pincus. In 2019, at an extraordinary general meeting, the shareholders approved the change of name to Aion Bank. At that time, Wojciech Sobieraj – the founder and long-standing president of Alior Bank, which has been operating since 2008 – became the bank’s leader.
